Overview

Over five years, 2020-2025, I partnered with JAF Consulting, a U.S.-based regulatory compliance and pharmaceutical consulting firm, to overhaul their digital presence and reposition their business for long-term growth.

What began as a WordPress website rebuild quickly evolved into a deeply collaborative, strategic retainer supporting everything from website management and business development to the creation of new service offerings.

This project serves as a clear example of how I help professional service firms translate expertise into scalable, market-ready infrastructure—and how my values of clarity, collaboration, and creative thinking show up across industries.

Phase 1:Website Redesign & Brand Positioning

Situation:

JAF Consulting’s original website was static, outdated, and unreflective of the sophistication or strategic value of their work. It read like a digital brochure, lacking organization, clarity, and any sense of brand storytelling.

Approach:

→ Conducted a full audit of existing web presence and messaging
→ Designed and developed a new, responsive WordPress site
→ Organized services by domain and decision-maker relevance
→ Sharpened the language to better position JAF as a senior-level consultancy
→ Integrated brand values into service narratives to create connection and credibility

Result:

A clean, modern website that positioned JAF as a high-trust partner in regulated industries. The restructured content strengthened SEO and the new client discovery process, giving the team a platform they were proud to share with clients and prospects.

“This project taught me how deeply I enjoy stepping into the role of collaborative translator—the person who can take complex services, dormant systems, or scattered ideas and shape them into something clear, powerful, and alive.”

—Eric Michael

Phase 2:Digital Growth & Systems Integration

Situation:

Two years after the new website went live, it became clear that JAF wasn’t avoiding using the platform—they didn’t know how to. Their digital infrastructure had gaps, and without an integrated strategy across systems, opportunities were being lost.

Approach:

→ Audited existing CRM, marketing, and inquiry systems
→ Connected and synchronized key tools: WordPress, Pipedrive, and Mailchimp
→ Designed, built, and tested branded templates across platforms
→ Developed internal processes for managing inbound leads, segmenting lists, and automating follow-up

Provided 1:1 coaching and documentation for system fluency and sustainability

Result:

JAF shifted from a passive digital presence to an active, integrated marketing system. Inquiries began flowing reliably through the website, and the team gained clarity on how to track, nurture, and remarket to leads—transforming the site into a true business development engine.

Phase 3:Scaleable Content & Virtual Business Development

Situation:

JAF had struggled for years to maintain a consistent content calendar, averaging just 2–3 blog posts per year. Despite a wealth of subject-matter expertise, they lacked the operational bandwidth and strategic clarity to scale their thought leadership.

Approach:

→ Took full ownership of their content strategy and publishing cadence
→ Introduced and implemented AI-supported content generation workflows
→ Developed a blog content directory of nearly 300 service-specific posts
→ Created lead magnets and conversion pathways tied to blog content
→ Helped streamline the setup, branding, and promotion of new eLearning offerings via the website

Result:

The blog became the centerpiece of JAF’s organic lead generation—drawing traffic from around the world, increasing SEO ranking, and establishing JAF as a go-to resource in the compliance space. Their eLearning programs gained visibility and structure, allowing them to better monetize intellectual property and expand beyond 1:1 consulting.

What began as a one-off website redesign became a comprehensive brand transformation—an example of what’s possible when strategic creativity meets long-term collaboration.
